Free entry to Kids Activities!
Join us for our annual Wivenhoe Park Day Nursery Winter Fair and Open Day on Saturday 7 December from 2-4pm at Wivenhoe Park Day Nursery.
The Wivenhoe Park Day Nursery would like to welcome everyone to enjoy the array of festive kids activities and entertainment for all the family to enjoy. Entry is free to all visitors!
There’s activities for everyone including the chance to meet Mr & Mrs Claus in our winter grotto, where you’ll receive a special gift. Or, why not take a ride on our fun toy set carousel in a snow filled winter wonderland, enjoy some tasty, warming winter treats and join in on a beautiful candlelit carol singing session.
Other festive kids activities include the frosty book corner, where you can snuggle up for a good story, enjoying tasty biscuits with the nursery team or getting creative with making your own Christmas Decorations. Then you, your friends and family can capture the special memories in the photo booth!
Grab your chance to tour around the nursery where you’ll see the beautiful parkland setting and meet the friendly nursery team. Explore the rooms and gardens that the children get to enjoy and learn more about what makes the setting different to other nurseries.
Supporting Colchester Neonatal Unit
This year all the funds raised from the Wivenhoe Park Day Nursery Winter Fair will go directly to the charity led parents group, Colchester Miracle Babies, which is based at Colchester hospitals special care unit. The support group offers a friendly and nurturing space for those families who have needed the help of the neonatal unit. You can find out more about the group on the hospital website. 
We will also be hosting a Donation Station during the week leading up to our fair to collect essential items that the parents and nurses in the group would find very valuable. Useful items can include full term baby grows, cotton wool pads, small baby bowls and baby books. You will find our collection table in Reception from the end of November.
Entry is free and open to all, so make sure you don’t miss out on this jam packed Winter Fair full of festive kids activities!
